[ yes, yes. he heard the approaching footsteps, so almost too readily, the door slides open for his human servant.
to put it simply, aodh's room is a hot mess at a glance. he has clothes strewn all over the place. somehow, he has already started to form a small pile of valuables off in one corner. his bed is unmade, his drawers are opened and disorganized and, given its current trajectory, the floor will entirely disappear within a few months.
but on closer look, despite how messy it looks, it's surprisingly clean of any actual trash. what we have here, folks, is organized chaos. ]
You may enter, servant. [ mind your step. ] Is that the offering you bring me? [ he doesn't wait for him to bring it over, telekinetically plucking it away from the human's grasp towards where he is seated upon his bed. ]
[ Oh, no. The second Laios steps in is when he gets the over-compelling urge to clean and organize everything in here, but what snaps him out of visualizing that is the fact he feels the tupperware move and he thinks heās dropping it. ]
Whoa!
[ He reaches to catch it, only to miss, but right away he establishes that Aodh has telekinesis abilities. ]
O-oh, you have psychic powers! Thatās.. so cool.
[ The tupperware given has two sides: one side with steamed rice, and the other side with rabbit curry.
Um.. I hope you like it. Itās curry with rabbit meat. My sister.. sheās.. part dragon, and we made this meal for her. So maybe youāll like it too.
[ keeping the tupperware afloat in front of him, aodh uses one of the provided utensils to prod at the various ingredients.
the grassy sweet aroma of the rabbit curry wafts up to his nose, crinkling it slightly. ]
Your sister is part-dragon...? [ red eyes lift to look at him. ] Is that why you are so knowledgeable of my lesser kins? [ he scoops up a spoonful of the rabbit meat and rice, shoveling it into his mouth for a taste. even though he isn't too fond of vegetables, they seem to be a tolerable addition to the dish. ] Did your mother remarry or were one of you adopted? [ then again, given that slight hesitation in his voice, ] Or did something else occurred?
[ but sheās not here anymore, so.. like⦠he doesnāt have to keep this rule, right? ]
My sister was eaten and digested by a dragon! A big, red dragon that I slayed! And one of my party members used black magic to revive her! She was just a skeleton, so we used the dragonās carcass to make her body again.
[ why is he all passionate about this.. his face is even flushed! ]
She was fine for awhile, but then when she went missing and we found her again, she had become one of the coolest things I had ever seen: a chimera! A person and a dragon, possibly a harpy and who knows what else.
Our plan when we get back home is to eat the monster part of her.
[ Laios gestures with his handsā Falinās small body and then the ginormous lower half of her that is a dragon. ]
She is.. very large. She will feed a lot of hungry people!
[ LAIOS THAT EXPLAINS NOTHING.. ]
But those parts of her will split from her because they are magic which is what is holding her together. When something is digested, especially outside of the dungeon, there is no other way to revive it.
[ it kind of makes sense.. but Laios is actually not 100 percent sure if itāll work or not. ]
It might hurt her, but only briefly, as it will rescue the human part of her left over.
[ when aodh returns to his room one day, there will be an unsigned package.
inside the gift box will be a self-help guide for those who have grand delusions of romance that also includes a qr code that one can scan that leads into theories disproving the existence of soulmates. attached is a small note: ]
[ He would be sweating and acting a little nervous, but Laios has gone through.. a lot, so he's been becoming a lot more bold. ]
It's all meat from the black market. I figured a dragon would like something from there.
[ He got into some trouble trying to get everything he ended up with. ]
Roasted Yama-Kujira drizzled in an apple sweet sauce, coconut crab cocktail, grilled Alitta Virens satay with peanut sauce, artificial rice, red wine imported from Europe.
[ Thereās a big sigh, but he canāt stay too irritated. Heās known Aodh for a good long while now, but everytime he ends up in his presence, Laios gets all flustered. He canāt really explain it. ]
A.. anyway. There you go.
[ Upon further observation, it looks like he got a black eye and some minor bruises, but not anything that he canāt deal with later. The meal is prepared at a floor table and Laios takes a seat. ]
Thanks for coming over. I havenāt been talking to people much so itās been a bit lonely.
[ it's futile trying to argue decorum with a primordial creature, laios. ]
Why have you been sequestering yourself away? Did you get into a fight with your friends? [ taking a seat at the table, he picks up his utensil as he skims over the various dishes. ] Or is it because Kabru is gone?
[ Laios isnāt sure what he was expecting, but for some reason, Aodh bringing up Kabru catches him a bit off guard.
He also looks over the food, avoiding eye contact. Heās not really talked to anybody about Kabru disappearing. ]
W.. well yeah! That would make anyone kind of sad, right? First Marcille, and now Kabru.. I think I have friends here but I am not always entirely sure.
[ He thought Toshirou was his friend back home but that.. happened to not be the case, so he never knows anymore.
Laios goes straight for the boar meat. ]
The more I stay here, the more I miss being back home on the dungeon. This isnāt the right era or environment for me. Do you feel like that sometimes?
But Kabru wasn't only your friend. He was your partner. [ a little different from just a friend, laios. ]
It is normal and okay to feel pain from the loss. You need not repress it. [ he goes for the roasted boar as well, shoveling a piece into his mouth and chewing on it thoughtfully. delectable. he is going to take more, before he responds rather apathetically. ]
This world makes no difference to me than any of the others I've lived on. I lack a home like you do, so I can't say I understand what you're feeling. However, I suppose it makes sense that you would want to return. To reunite with those you know who are not here.
[ He can't help but feel a little bit of pride when Aodh goes for the boar meat and seems satisfied. Though, he's finding out more and more about this guy each time they have a discussion like this. Laios envies him, terribly so, but sometimes when he talks he sounds so lonely. It might have to do with his instinctive desire to find a companion. ]
You don't have a place that you just kind of.. hang out at?
[ love how dunmeshi is 500 a.d and use slang like this ]
[ Laiosās eyes follow Aodhās motions as he reaches for the next part of the meal to try, a small smile appearing on his face briefly before Aodh speaks and catches his fullest attention. He really is so mysterious, and Laios wonders what kind of life that could be like. He was a wanderer for the longest timeā from trying to fit in various places in his life. The dungeon was the best place for him to feel at home. Maybe Aodh will finally find somewhere he can call home tooā if he wanted that. Maybe he likes traveling so much.
Quiet for a moment, Laios stammers in his speech just a little. ]
If thereās somehow a way, c.. could I travel with you sometime?
It doesnāt matter to me. As much as I miss the dungeon, I wonder if thereās another place out there where I could fit in again⦠in this realm or somewhere new.
[ Laios rubs the back of his neck, his cheeks still lingering pink. ]
I.. like your company, and serving you. I was prophesied to become a king back in my world, but the thought of baring such a responsibility makes me sick to my stomach.
You like them? [ rhetorical ā because of course he likes them. who wouldn't? ]
You aren't bad yourself, especially hereā [ he can feel his petals gradually unfurling now. ] Soft, hot and wet. [ coaxing him open further, he begins to slide his forefinger within his depth, even as he lowers back down into the water with the plant in toll, allowing him to straddle atop him. ]
What about here? [ with his free hand, aodh covers vash's own, guiding it down past his abdomen to the first of his shafts and curving his fingers around it. ] You know what to do, don't you? [ he pushes his finger further up inside of him as he speaks. ] Or shall I teach you?
( It's harder to focus now, straddling Aodh's broad thighs with very little between them, the dragon's hands on his body in a way he hasn't felt in such a long time. Usually touch comes violently, or it comes casually. Being coaxed into action like a thing wanted feels new again. He has to bite his bottom lip in an attempt to get the terrible flush under control, the space between his petals oozing with fluid and heat. )
I know how to -. ( Voice rough, hazy with want. The fingers around Aodh's shaft curl tighter and the same time as the dragon's own piston higher, Vash makes a squeaky sound, flustered again. ) Tell me how you like it.
( Soft, slow, hard, fast? He's at least aware of preference, his own body squeezing greedily as his hand moves, the length almost a threat. )
